Shipping & Address Accuracy Policy

Customer Responsibility
All orders are shipped strictly to the address provided by the customer at checkout. This includes all contact information, such as telephone numbers and email addresses. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure that all shipping details are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.

Address Verification
AngelWingDesigns does not verify or audit shipping addresses for accuracy or completeness. We are not liable for any delivery failures, losses, or delays resulting from incorrect or insufficient address information provided by the customer

Failed Deliveries & Returns
In the event a parcel is returned to us due to an address error:
  • Refunds: We can issue a refund for the cost of the goods only, minus a 10% handling fee. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Reshipment: If you prefer to have the item resent, the customer must provide a corrected address and pay a new shipping fee before the item is dispatched

Non-Tracked Shipping Policy (Economy international Service)

Service Overview
For low-value items, we offer a non-tracked, economy shipping option to reduce costs for our customers. Please be aware that this service does not include real-time tracking or delivery confirmation.

Proof of Posting
For all non-tracked orders, AngelWingDesigns will obtain and retain a Proof of Posting from the carrier. This document serves as our official confirmation that the parcel has been successfully dispatched and handed over to the postal service.

Transfer of Liability
By selecting the non-tracked shipping method at checkout, the customer acknowledges and accepts the following:
  • Customer Risk: The customer assumes all risk for the parcel once it has been dispatched. AngelWingDesigns is not responsible for parcels that are lost, delayed, or damaged in transit when this service is selected.
  • No Tracking Assistance: We are unable to provide updates, location data, or delivery estimates once the parcel leaves our facility.
  • No Refunds or Replacements: Under no circumstances will refunds be issued or replacement goods sent for non-tracked parcels that fail to arrive.
    Recommendation
    We strongly recommend selecting a Tracked Service for any items of significant value or time-sensitivity to ensure guaranteed delivery and peace of mind.


International Sales

Please note we AngelWingDesigns are not registered for UK VAT

You may need to pay additional charges issued by your customs authorites prior to delivery of any goods purchased from ourselves. We have no control over any charges issued by your customs authorities or handling / admininstration charges for momentary collection from the couriers / parcel service.

Optional Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) Service

Service Overview
For select destinations within Europe and the USA, AngelWingDesigns offers an optional Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) 

Process and Payment

  1. Pre-Authorization: To use this service, customers must contact us at awdbalsakits@gmail.com prior to completing their purchase.
  2. Payment Request: Once the duty costs are calculated, we will send a secure electronic payment request to your provided email address.
  3. Spam Filter Notice: Please monitor your inbox and spam/junk folders for this request.
  4. Dispatch: Your order will only be handed over to the carrier once the DDP fees have been paid in full.

Customer Acknowledgement
By requesting the DDP service, the customer agrees to reimburse AngelWingDesigns for all calculated import fees. If these fees are not paid within [Number, e.g., 3] business days of the request, the order may be cancelled or shipped under standard Delivered at Place (DAP) terms, where the customer remains liable for all duties charged by local customs.

USA Shipping: New Tariff & Customs Requirements (Effective 2025)

US Customs Changes
Following recent executive actions, the United States has implemented two major changes affecting all orders shipped from the UK to the USA:

  1. Baseline Tariff: As of 5 April 2025, a baseline 10% tariff is applied to most goods imported from the UK into the US.
  2. Removal of Duty-Free Threshold: As of 29 August 2025, the "de minimis" exemption has been suspended. Previously, orders valued under $800 could enter the US duty-free; now, all commercial shipments regardless of value are subject to full customs clearance, duties, and taxes.

What This Means for Our Customers

  • Mandatory Duties: Because the $800 exemption no longer exists, every parcel sent to the USA will now incur import duties and processing fees.
  • Pricing Adjustments: AngelWingDesigns must pass these government-mandated costs directly to the customer. These charges are determined by US Customs and are beyond our control.
  • Duty Paid Shipping: To ensure your items are accepted into the USA without being held or returned by customs, certain orders must now be sent as Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means all estimated duties and fees must be settled at the time of purchase or before dispatch. See DDP Policy above.

USA Specific Import Tariffs & Country of Origin Policy

Tariff Applicability
All orders placed after 19 August 2025 are subject to international tariffs. These fees are calculated based on the official Country of Origin (COO) for each specific item in your order, as required by international customs regulations.

Country of Origin Declarations
To ensure full compliance with customs authorities, we declare the origin of our products as follows:

  • Electronic Components: Items such as motors, servos, and ESCs (if applicable) are designated as "People's Republic of China" origin.

Kits & Bespoke Products: All AngelWingDesigns kits and custom-manufactured products are designated as "United Kingdom" origin.
Larger Parcels: Delivered at Place (DAP)
Parcels exceeding standard volumetric size limits (typically shipped via UPS) are sent under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms.

  • Customer Responsibility: For these shipments, the customer (the importer) is solely responsible for paying all applicable import duties, local taxes, and carrier brokerage fees.
  • Payment: The carrier will contact you directly to collect these funds before delivery can be completed. Failure to pay these fees will result in the parcel being returned or abandoned, with no refund of shipping costs.
