Designed in collaboration in public-domain design and YouTube star Nick Chitty, (Dont forget to check out Nick on Youtube) The ALF is engineered to deliver a more refined, higher-performance entry into the thrilling and addictive world of Discus Launch Gliders.
We set out with an aggressive checklist: build it easier, fly it smoother, and push performance boundaries. Balancing those three pillars is a nightmare for most designers—but we nailed it. Whether you are a seasoned thermal hunter or stepping up to your first 1m glider, the ALF delivers pure RC euphoria.

  • Two Builds in One Box: Build it your way! Choose between a conventional dihedral configuration for rock-solid stability or a flatter-turning polyhedral format for maximum thermal carving efficiency. Every single part for both versions is included right in the kit.
  • Ultimate Portability: We didn't stop at a killer wing design. The ALF features a 2-piece wing and removable horizontal tail surfaces, making it the ultimate grab-and-go backpack glider.
  • Launch with Confidence: Equipped with a high-tension spring-pull control system featuring pull-for-up elevator. This guarantees zero slop and minimises aerodynamic blowback during your hardest launches.
  • Premium Carbon Tailboom: Features a custom-manufactured, ultralight spiral-wrapped carbon tail boom, precision-developed alongside the high-performance glider experts at Hyperflight.
