Following on from the massive success of the Dune Freak glider, the Shushi marks our second exciting collaboration with designer Nick Chitty. We took Nick’s CAD drawings, and have meticulously refined every line to create flawless, precise cut files. The result is a practical, incredibly sturdy, and satisfying balsa model kit that goes together with ease.
We design our models for real-world flying conditions. To make this kit truly slope-ready, we swapped out the traditional balsa leading edge for a heavy-duty hardwood dowel. This smart upgrade allows the airframe to effortlessly absorb punishment, handle rough landings, and resist typical slope-side wear and tear.
