A large number of precision metal parts are used to faithfully replicate the structure of the real aircraft. These include components such as the central fuel tank bracket, front and rear landing gear with functioning shock absorbers, metal-framed windshields, aluminum doors, and various precision connectors.

The kit features a highly detailed dashboard module with outstanding texture and realism. The interior cabin components are wrapped in leather, adding to the authenticity and premium feel.

The landing gear system is a true-to-scale reproduction of the original aircraft’s design. The load-bearing structure mirrors that of the real Tiger Moth, and the multistrand steel wire tensioning cables between the wings are not just decorative — they are under actual load and contribute structurally, just like in the full-scale version.

To ensure optimal performance and durability, a variety of wood types have been selected for different structural areas. These include pine, basswood plywood, birch plywood, Chinese paulownia, and Balsawood from Papua New Guinea. The result is exceptional low-speed handling, an ultra-light wing loading of just 32g/dm², and a highly realistic taxiing posture thanks to the shock-absorbing landing gear.

The Tiger Moth kit offers an impressive flying experience. The wings can be quickly disassembled via screws, without the need to readjust the tension wires. Field tests show the aircraft can be fully assembled within just 10 minutes, making it convenient and efficient for flight operations.

A tremendous amount of thought and refinement has gone into this Tiger Moth kit. After numerous design iterations and prototype testing, we have successfully integrated many innovative ideas to deliver our most accurate and sophisticated Tiger Moth model yet.
